Description:

800 grados is a research project about materiality and local production, carried out for the local glass factory Santa Cruz in Guadalajara. By collecting pieces from cars, stainless steel kitchen utensils, and iron grills from local landfills, we allowed the glass to take on completely different forms. This enabled new possibilities of expression for this material, letting urban molds dictate new outcomes and creating a new typology of objects.

The research was exhibited at Espacio Abierto.

Material: Glass, Stainless Steel, various metals.

Dimensions: Variable.
